Record-Breaking Month For Aish Technologies
Increased orders for our products and services and improvements in manufacturing efficiency have come together to create a new record for Aish Technologies. July 2009 saw output rise to £1.28 million for the month, the highest monthly output ever achieved. This figure represents an increase of £260,000 over this year’s previous highest month, and a massive increase of £563,000 over the average monthly output for 2008. The figures are an indication that Aish Technologies will continue its spectacular organic growth and return an equally impressive increase in turnover this year, in what many are forecasting as a depressing time for industry.
Aish Technologies has been very successful over recent years in increasing sales of its award-winning products. Building on key contracts such as displays and consoles for the Royal Navy’s Daring Class destroyers, replacement consoles for Trafalgar Class submarines and enclosure structures for the ASTOR ground station, Aish has improved its sales performance in a number of areas. Notable among these are new generic enclosures and consoles for the Astute programme; further inroads into the Land Systems market with portable enclosures for the Falcon Communications System; and a burgeoning footprint in the commercial sector, with successes in the waste recycling and construction industries.
Inevitably, higher sales result in higher output targets, and in order to achieve these we have invested in a number of new machine tools and selectively increased staffing levels at strategic points. This has allowed us the flexibility to match our customers’ delivery expectations whilst maintaining the manufacturing efficiencies that give us such a big advantage over our competitors.
Lastly, this record output could not have been achieved without the dedication, commitment and sheer hard work displayed by the Aish Technologies’ manufacturing, engineering and project staff, and we at Latest News raise our hats to them. |
